Think the data from your MicroScribe is accurate? It can be improved by attaching a base plate to the bottom of the MicroScribe then attaching it to the fixture plate. This rigid assembly enables the full utilization of the MicroScribe’s encoders to gain maximum accuracy from your portable CMM.
To maximize MicroScribe accuracy bolt the unit to a fixture plate using a base plate. By properly fixturing the MicroScribe Portable CMM and the item to be measured, GoMeasure3D has been able to gain accuracies down to .0005.
